Nvidia RTX 40 Series Debut Expected at Sept 20 GeForce Beyond Event
Nvidia sent out a press invitation for a special event on Tuesday, September 20th at 8am PT. Green on his team’s GTC 2022 conference kickoff, GeForce Beyond (opens in new tab) The day will begin with a special broadcast, followed by a keynote from Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
With the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series expected to launch in the coming weeks, it looks like the first official reveal date for the Ada Lovelace architecture graphics card has been confirmed. If things go the rumored way and play out in a similar fashion to the Ampere generation, we can see Nvidia kicking off that revelation with his AD102 GPU-based solution at the top end, possibly his RTX 4090. This will be the head of the launch, and Nvidia is believed to be not far behind with the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070, so expect to siphon off early adopter dollars. However, the extent of the September 20th exposure is not yet known.
As seen above, Nvidia released a teaser video for “Project Beyond” before the press email. The invitation also includes details such as the date and time of the GeForce Beyond special broadcast and the order of events. According to the official blurb, his GeForce Beyond segment will be shown at the start of the event at 8am, followed by his Jensen Huang keynote. He details Nvidia’s “latest breakthroughs in gaming, creation, and graphics technology.”
