This is the second Prime Day branded sale of the year, and deals and discounts will no doubt start popping up in the period just before and perhaps after the two-day sale. Remember, Amazon is not alone!
Amazon is huge and has such momentum when it comes to sales events that other retailers want to participate and profit from it. I’m sure many other retailers such as Newegg, Walmart, Best Buy, and well-known manufacturers of your favorite computer products will be attending.
Newegg traditionally has a larger selection of PC components than Amazon, and they’ve already announced a “Fantastech Sale 2,” so you’re more likely to find deals on CPUs, RAM, and SSDs.
Prime day is for prime members

How to check if a deal is a deal
Not everything is as it seems. Don’t always believe what you see. Do your due diligence and make sure what you’re looking at is actually a bargain. Luckily, Amazon has a great website for pricing: camel camel camel (opens in new tab) We also offer a Chrome extension tool called Camelizer.
There are a few steps to check if you are really considering a trade.

This plugin shows the complete price history of a product based on Camelcamelcamel’s database. Simply click the plugin button on the product’s Amazon page and the chart will appear.
2. seek PC parts picker.
PCPartPicker is a great way to find the PC component you’re looking for and compare its prices across retailers. The site also maintains price histories for nearly every part across half a dozen retailers, not Amazon.
3. Check Competitor Sites
Once you find a deal, copy-paste the product name and do a search on competing sites See if any of them have even better sales on the same product. Google shopping (opens in new tab)because this may give better search results.
Be patient
If the item you’re looking for isn’t on sale during Amazon Early Access, don’t panic or buy on impulse. Bigger sales spectacles are just around the corner with Black Friday and Cyber Monday. And that sale season may offer even more deals. So don’t feel pressured to buy over time.
