Raspberry Pi Decktility Handheld Puts a PC in Your Pocket

This tiny handheld is built completely from scratch and powered by a Raspberry Pi CM4.

Hoeylandt explains that he wanted a project that would create something from scratch with a lot of challenges. He wanted to make a handheld similar to the Yarh.io Mini 2, but it needed to not only meet his needs, but also show a bit of his own creative flair. The result is this ultra-compact pocket-sized computer.

The unit is housed inside a 3D printed shell designed by Hoeylandt himself. This shell can best be printed using his 3D printer. The CAD files were created using his OnShape and required quite a few revisions before reaching the final design. It has a keyboard integrated on the bottom and his IPS touchscreen for video output with a resolution of 800 x 480px. Decktility also includes a portable battery, with two 18650’s powering the device for up to 6 hours.
