According to Uri, he has been working with TGD Consulting, A German IT company developed a lawnmower and developed effective and easy-to-use software. At the moment, the project is still in development and is not fully completed. Just recently, Uri 3D printed a chassis of basic hardware components that allows it to test the latest software releases.

Now the team has built a web-based interface that allows you to see what the mower sees, adjust settings, and control movement from one place. The unit is equipped with a variety of sensors, giving you much more flexibility to control it from the web interface. The team calls the application he PiMowBotIT-SW.
Lawnmowers are equipped with various tools and sensors to navigate the yard and determine where they need to go for mowing. The Pi is programmed to identify green as an acceptable plane to pass through for mowing. There is a time-of-flight sensor for left-right sweep and a camera used for image recognition. I also had to develop a custom board that allowed me to easily connect the Pi to various sensors. Ulli uses his Raspberry Pi 4 to test his PiMowBot, but TGD confirms it works on other models as well.
According to TGD, the PiMowBotIT application is designed to run on a lightweight version of the Raspberry Pi OS.their website details not only the software aspects of the project, but also the hardware options available for building it. For example, you can 3D print the bulk of the body and build other components, such as mower blades, using specific cutting discs.
