RX 7600 Full Specs Leaked: Up to 2,625 MHz at 165W
The Radeon RX 7600 is reportedly coming on May 25th as a rival to the best graphics cards out there. Many of the RDNA 3 graphics card specs have been leaked. However, the Argentinian press HD technology I have shared the spec table to fill in some blanks. The specs look accurate, but a pinch of salt is recommended in making sense of the information.
It’s now almost an open secret that AMD will use Navi 33 silicon to power the Radeon RX 7600. The Navi 33 is manufactured at TSMC on the 6nm process node, the same silicon that powers some of AMD’s mobile RDNA 3 graphics cards. Such as Radeon RX 7600M and Radeon RX 7700S. Additionally, it has a relatively small die of 204mm², which is 14% smaller than his Navi 23 inside the Radeon RX 6600. Nevertheless, the Navi 33 has about 20% more transistors than the Navi 23.
Like its predecessor, the Radeon RX 7600 supports the PCIe 4.0 standard. The graphics card has a PCIe 4.0 x16 connector, but is electrically limited to x8. A leaked rendered image reveals a reference Radeon RX 7600 with a compact design measuring less than 21cm, turning the graphics card into a solid option for compact systems.
The Radeon RX 7600 takes full advantage of the Navi 33 die. So the graphics card will have 32 compute units or 2,048 stream processors. By comparison, this is 14% more than the Radeon RX 6600. This also includes a 14% increase in Ray accelerators on the Radeon RX 7600. RDNA 2 didn’t have an AI accelerator, so it can’t be compared in this regard.
In terms of clock speeds, the reference Radeon RX 7600 has a game clock of 2,250 MHz and a boost clock of 2,625 MHz. That’s a 10% and 5% increase respectively over the Radeon RX 6600. Note that single-precision (FP32) and half-precision (FP16) numbers are terrible metrics for measuring game performance. To give a general sense of the generational improvement, the Radeon RX 7600 delivers nearly 3x higher FP32 and FP16 performance than the Radeon RX 6600. A leaked generic benchmark proves the Radeon RX 7600 to be up to 34% faster than the Radeon RX 6600. However, the same Radeon RX 7600 only offered 5% to 16% better performance than the Radeon RX 6650 XT. So it would be best to wait until our review confirms the numbers.

In terms of memory, the Radeon RX 7600 retains the GDDR6 memory and 128-bit memory interface used in the Radeon RX 6600. However, AMD has equipped the Radeon RX 7600 with 18 Gbps memory chips instead of the Radeon RX’s 14 Gbps variant. The Radeon RX 7600 outputs a theoretical maximum memory bandwidth of up to 288 GB/s, which is 29% more than the Radeon RX 6600.
The Radeon RX 7600 and Radeon RX 6600 feature the same 32MB Infinity cache, but the Radeon RX 7600’s Infinity cache is 2nd generation and will reportedly offer higher gaming performance. As a result, when considering Infinity Cache, the Radeon RX 7600’s effective memory bandwidth is only 16% higher than the Radeon RX 6600.
The Radeon RX 7600 is reported to have a TBP of 165W, which is a 25% increase over the Radeon RX 6600. This is a noticeable increase, but it should not affect the graphics card power design. Even for heavily overclocked factory models, a single 8-pin PCIe power connector is sufficient for external power.
Apparently, the only thing we don’t know about the Radeon RX 7600 is the MSRP. Canada Computers & Electronics previously listed several custom Radeon Rx 7600 graphics cards, but quickly withdrew the listing. However, Canadian retailers had the Gigabyte Radeon RX 76600 8GB Gaming OC, the XFX Speedster SWFT 210 AMD Radeon RX 7600 Core, and the XFX Speedster QICK 308 AMD Radeon RX 7600 Black. $315, $311and $304, Each. Canadian hardware prices are usually higher, but that price is very close to his GeForce RTX 4060’s MSRP of $299. So it’s entirely possible that AMD will launch the Radeon RX 7600 at the same MSRP as its competitors.
