Santander Brazil to launch cryptocurrency trading platform

Brazil becomes a hotbed for cryptocurrency finance

Fintech company PicPay recently announced that it will begin domestic crypto exchange with stablecoin fixed to the Brazilian real by the end of 2022.

At the end of last year, Mercado Libre, Latin America’s largest e-commerce company, gave Brazilian users the option to start buying, selling and holding digital assets using the platform.

Earlier this week, Brazil’s largest digital bank, Nubank, announced that it had gained a whopping 1 million users on its crypto trading platform within just 30 days of its launch.
