From the box images, it is clear that the Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 will have 8GB of VRAM, which is in line with previous leaks and rumors. If you zoom in on the box wrap photo, you’ll see that this model has “32 AMD RDNA 3 Compute Units” and a 32MB AMD Infinity Cache to make up for the stingy memory bus. The box art section looks like it could be the source for the RX 7600 specs news leaked yesterday.
Elsewhere in the image shared by VideoCardz, we can see that the Sapphire graphics card is a traditional dual-fan cooled GPU with a single 8-pin power connector. This is more than enough for a GPU that, like the previous generation Radeon RX 6600, is expected to deliver around 130W of power.
Along with the desktop Radeon RX 7600’s power consumption and consequent higher base/boost clocks, we expected the specs to match the RX 7600M GPU officially announced at CES 2023 in January. However, the desktop RX 7600 appears to come with 32 CUs and 2,048 CUs, which mirrors the specs of the Radeon RX 7600M XT.
In other words, the RX 7600 desktop version has about 15% more shader processors than the mobile version. Additionally, migrating from the RDNA 2 architecture to the RDNA 3 architecture is advertised to improve performance by about 25%.
euro price rumors
A listing for the RX 7600 desktop graphics card was spotted in Singapore three days ago. Approximately $410 when converted to local prices. CotCowLand claims that the Radeon RX 7600 will cost €349 in France. The site doesn’t provide any documentation, links or screenshots to prove this pricing, so it’s best to add a grain of salt.
A price of 349 euros translates to $380 at today’s exchange rate. After deducting his VAT in France (20%) it comes to $304. This could indicate that the AMD Radeon RX 7600 launch price will be set at $299 in the US.
Finally, this latest pricing rumor and Singapore rumor points to a launch/launch date on or around Thursday, May 25th.
