Socios.com invests $100M to accelerate Web3 innovations for FC Barcelona
Socios.com is invested $100 million It aims to accelerate the innovation of FC Barcelona’s blockchain, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and digital assets.
Barca Studios was launched in 2019 as a club platform for creating and distributing video and audio content. Our partnership with Socios.com offers more NFT and Metaverse related projects to connect, reward and connect with the club’s global fan base.
Barca Studios’ Web3 project is Chiliz Chain 2.0 (CC2), a Layer 1 blockchain designed for the sports and entertainment industry. CC2 will allow the sports brand to create his NFTs and Fan Tokens to use in his DeFi products and Play2Earn games. CC2 mainnet is scheduled to launch in Q4 2022.

Messi joins Socios.com
