Solana Mobile Stack (SMS) is an open source software development kit (SDK) that helps developers build native Android apps compatible with the Solana blockchain network.

With this toolkit, developers can “build a beautiful and seamless web3 mobile experience” and the SDK will debut on Saga smartphones with Solana.

new function

The SDK includes a mobile wallet adapter. This is a protocol for connecting web applications and native Android apps to the wallet of mobile devices. According to the company, this feature is intended to work on all mobile devices, not just the Android operating system.

Another feature is the Seed Vault, a secure environment built into mobile devices. It separates the private key, seed phrase, and secret from the application layer while interacting with the app running on the device or mobile browser. This feature aims to prevent application hacking and exploit theft by separating sensitive data from the application layer.

Solana Pay for Android not only enables decentralized mobile payments, but also enables users to make contactless mobile payments backed by funds held in self-managed wallets of “tens of millions of merchants” around the world. An additional feature that makes it possible.

Solana Labs will also launch the Solana Dapp Store for decentralized applications on mobile devices, making the Web3 ecosystem accessible to users via smartphones. Users can access dapps and wallets on the Solana network without paying a fee.

According to Solana Labs, Solana Mobile Stack enables new features such as the ability for users to create (create and launch) non-fungible tokens (NFTs) via their smartphones. It also plays Solana-based games, runs mobile transactions over the network, and provides easy access to various dapps and protocols in the Solana ecosystem, including Defi applications.

In addition to the seed vault, Saga Prefecture has a hardware-based “safety element” that further protects your sensitive information from hacking exploits and theft. Users of Android and iOS devices are at risk of losing encryption due to fake apps, so this additional security measure may help.

In addition, the Solana Foundation has set up a $ 10 million developer ecosystem fund to fund mobile developers and creators. This will come soon Solana Launches $ 100 Million Fund To attract crypto projects from South Korea.
