Texas cryptocurrency miner to use power from batteries to support grid stability

Lancium’s unique Lancium SmartResponse technology allows data centers to adjust their power usage in real time according to grid conditions.
Cryptocurrency miners have been accused of putting additional strain on the state’s power grid, which collapsed during the 2021 winter storm. The miner has stated that it will shrink its business during peak demand, but does not guarantee it.
The first phase of Lancium’s clean campus will support crypto miners, and the facility will also support data centers in the future.
