In narrating the sequence, writer and director Jordan Peele said he wanted to “bring out the surreal side” of theme parks “and Hollywood” in the setting.
OJ continues to the arena, where he looks up and sees a UFO moving in a precarious and menacing manner through the clouds.
“The idea was that if I could leave the film with people feeling the same way about the sky that they felt about the water after Jaws, then I would be in a great position to make them suffer for at least a few years.” said Peel.
