Zotac Shows Off Mini PC with Solid-State Cooling and Spider-Man GPUs in a Spider-Man Casemod
Zotac announced the Zbox PI430AJ Mini PC a week ago, and we had a chance to check out the system’s solid-state active cooling in action at Computex 2023. The Zbox PI430AJ we saw has an Intel i3-N300 processor, 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 1x M.2 NVME PCIe x4 SSD slot, WiFi 6, Gigabit LAN and Bluetooth 5.2. This is the first mini PC with Flore System’s ‘AirJet Mini’ solid-state active cooling. So in that little case he has two of his AirJet Minis, which can remove 10W of heat.
The company told my colleague Matt Safford that using the AirJet Mini with the Zbox PI430AJ allowed Zotac to step up to the Core i3 processor. The top isn’t actually translucent, just translucent to show how the AirJet Mini cooling system works. A small fan was also placed on top of the unit to show air movement.
Zotac also showed off new products Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse– Themed GeForce RTX 4070 and 4070 Ti graphics cards. This too he was announced a week ago. The Special Edition cards are based on Zotac’s Twin Edge OC and Amp Airo cards (RTX 4070 Twin Edge, RTX 4070 Amp Airo, RTX 4070 Ti Amp Airo).
GPUs will be sold in bundles that include themed magnetic backplates, custom fan emblems, tote bags, and decorative decals. The Amp Airo Edition also comes with a random (1 out of 3) collectible figure.
If you’re not sure what to do with your figures, Zotac has introduced a new themed GPU in their casemod. Pug Life PC — Features a new themed RTX 4070 Twin Edge OC card and all three figures. This mod also features an Intel Core i7 processor, Asus B760-Plus WiFi ATX motherboard, 32GB DDR5-5600 memory, 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and 850W ATX3.0 PSU.
