The Ryzen 7800X3D is the Zen 4 X3D chip many enthusiasts have been waiting for. The $699 Ryzen 9 7950X3D may be coveted for its magic of 16C/32T and 3D V-Cache, but its price is also a favorite compared to other chips. A little disappointed as it was only $100 cheaper. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the direct successor to the popular Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and we’re looking forward to testing this new $449 CPU for ourselves.
This comparison shows that 3D V-Cache CPUs aren’t the best choice on this metric, but we do know that they offer great gaming performance compared to regular Ryzen chips. Of all the worthwhile comparisons, the rise against the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is probably the most interesting.
SiSoft Benchmarks are really good to see as an indication that developers and hardware testers are tinkering with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and are optimizing their software and firmware upon release to get the most out of it.
