The title of the PDF file is “OKX, Binance, Huobi VIP Price Comparison.xls”. It also contains malicious code that allows an attacker to remotely access the victim’s software and run Excel macros in hidden mode in the background.

According to the document, Microsoft detected an attacker breaking into a Telegram chat group and impersonating a representative of the exchange platform in question.
The attackers also turned out to have deep knowledge of the subject, which they used to gain the trust of various cryptocurrency companies. The attackers then persuaded the victim to download the document in question.
Microsoft also warns that other attackers may be using similar methods to compromise systems.
