Best Buy Heavily Discounts Nvidia RTX 30 Graphics Card Stocks

US consumer electronics retailer Best Buy (opens in new tab) seems to have decided to wipe out its existing Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series inventory.Earlier today we had some really good Ampere GPU offers in our ‘clearance’ sale but of course the stock flew off the shelves before anyone could screen grab Availability crumbs.

Best Buy is the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series Founders Edition GPUs in the US, and they’re rushing to clear their inventory, so the RTX 3080 10GB FE was probably the biggest bargain among the clearance items. This powerful Ampere architecture card has been slashed from $699 to $419 to free up shelf space. Curiously, the discount on the GeForce RX 3080 FE made it even cheaper than his RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3070 cards at the time. no at the clearance sale. I would like to know how many were sold at this very high price.

Other high-end RTX 30 GPUs included in the Best Buy clearance sale include the RTX 3090 Ti, which drops from $1999 to $879, the RTX 3090, which drops to $749, and the RTX 3080, which drops to $719. Ti was included. The lower tier RTX 30-series cards didn’t attract attractive discounts. At the time of writing the article, when I searched the site for availability, it seems that the stock of the RTX 3070 and later models is very low, and the clearance sale seems to have been successful.

There’s some unspoken good news behind the RTX 30-series bargain that’s now evaporating. Nvidia has been retailing his high-end RTX 40-series graphics cards for several months now, but the traditional mass-market offerings selling desktop cards in the 70, 60 and 50 classes have yet to arrive. Hurry up. Simply put, a retailer like Best Buy appears to be clearing inventory and shelf space for his new range of GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. Because we can speculate that the future RTX 4070 and 4060 Ti have made the higher tier RTX 30 series inventory. looks bad.

Hopefully Nvidia will launch the RTX 4070, RTX 4060/Ti and RTX 4050/Ti desktop graphics cards sooner or later. There have been many leaks about these upcoming mainstream models and only yesterday reported on the apparent exposure of the RTX 4060 specs.
