Binance is suspending USD-based bank transfers

Binance has temporarily suspended US dollar bank transfers from February 8th. crypto slate February 6th.

The company said it is directly notifying affected customers. A Binance spokesperson said:

“It’s worth noting that only 0.01% of our monthly active users are using USD bank transfers, but we’re working hard to get the service back up as soon as possible.”

The exchange added that users can use other methods to buy and sell crypto, including bank transfers in fiat currencies such as euros.

Binance has not disclosed how long the service disruption will last.

On January 23rd, Binance announced that its banking partner Signature bank would stop processing cryptocurrency transactions under $100,000. At the time, the exchange added that the decision would affect the bank’s cryptocurrency customers.
