Buoyant weekend price action sees Bitcoin recapture $27,000: CryptoSlate wMarket Update
Since last Friday’s wMarket report, the cryptocurrency market has seen net inflows of $47.2 billion, now at $1.16 trillion, up 4.2% from $1.12 trillion.
Over the weekend, the market caps of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) rose 5.5% and 5%, respectively, to $540.34 billion and $228.76 billion.
Over the past 24 hours, all of the top 10 cryptocurrencies have posted gains, with Ethereum leading the way with a 3% rise.
The market caps of Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) increased to $83.16 billion and $29.06 billion respectively. By contrast, Binance USD (BUSD) fell to $5.28 billion.
Bitcoin
Bitcoin rose 2.4%, trading at $27,870 as of 07:00 ET, boosting market power from 46.1% to 46.6%.
Since last Friday, BTC has turned upwards and accelerated to a high of $28,430 by Sunday evening following news of a debt ceiling deal. Since then, major cryptocurrencies have gradually fallen to support at $27,720.

Ethereum is up 3% over the past 24 hours, trading at $1,903 as of 07:00 ET. Market power has risen from 19.6% for him to 19.7% for him.
