Cooler Master Unveils New AIO Coolers, Open Loop Concept
Cooler Master will be unveiling a ton of different products at Computex 2023, including a new CPU cooler. The company’s suite showcased two of his new 360mm AIOs and concept designs for open-loop cooling systems, a market the company has never entered before.
The Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Ion (pictured above) features a 2.1-inch LCD screen on the pump that can display system information such as CPU temperature and decorative images and animations. It features 3 Mobius 120P ARGB fans and a dual chamber pump. When we saw this in the Cooler Master suite, it was part of a strikingly colorful outdoor architecture (see photo above). I especially like the hexagonal shape of the pump cover and his RGB lights around the screen.
The MasterLiquid 360 Atmos doesn’t have a screen, but it does have a customizable pump cover that you can replace with your own 3D printed top. The default pump cover is the first Cooler Master to be made from recycled plastic. On the pump itself he has three of his 120mm fans, SickleFlow Edge ARGB fans that promise quiet cooling and vibrant colors.
Cooler Master’s MasterLoop is part of a concept series that, when commercialized, will represent a complete line of open loop cooling components. In this suite we saw a number of accessories, radiators, pumps, tubes and water blocks used for both CPUs and graphics cards. I especially liked the bright color scheme of the water blocks. All pieces match the Cooler Master aesthetic, with matte chrome hardware and logo on the silver background of the waterblock.
Cooler Master also used an open loop cooling system on two sample PC builds. Both, inside he had two different pumps and water blocks, also with attractive purple and blue coolant.
Whether or not Cooler Master will actually launch the MasterLoop series remains to be seen, but if it does, the company will definitely encourage more builders to use open-loop cooling.
Pricing and availability for the MasterLiquid 360 Atmos and MasterLiquid 360 Ion are also yet to be announced.
