Minisforum is best known for its cheap, ultra-compact and extremely capable desktops, but their ambitions don’t stop there. Minisforum Neptune NH2673 is based on Intel Core i7-12650H processor (6P, 4E, 16T, up to 4.70 GHz, 24 MB, 45W) and supports up to 64 GB of memory using two SO-DIMM modules and M modules. Connected with DDR4 memory. A .2-2280 SSD with a PCIe 4.0 interface and a capacity of 2TB. If you need even more storage, the NH2673 comes with a 2.5 inch bay for large capacity drives. To ensure consistently high performance in gaming workloads, Neptune NH2673 comes with a fairly sophisticated cooling system with four fans.

One of the main selling points of this PC is probably the discrete Intel Arc A730M GPU (24 Xe cores, 3072 stream processors, up to 95W) with 6GB of GDDR6 memory, making it the best of all integrated GPUs in existence today. promises to deliver far superior performance. This graphics processor is on his MXM board, so he can upgrade later if the new module is compatible with his system. On the other hand, Minisforum did not directly say that the MXM modules are upgradable, only mentioning the upgradability of DRAM and storage.

The additional gaming performance and potential upgradeability of the graphics subsystem should justify the dimensions of the system. Larger than you would normally expect from a Minisforum PC. We’re certainly not looking at towers here, but the Neptune NH2673 is probably on par with other compact gaming systems such as Falcon Northwest’s Tiki.
