Noblechairs Legend Gaming Chair Review: Noble Lineage
Like many gaming chairs on the market these days, the Legend by Noblechairs is designed to not look out of place in a race car. This is the trajectory that Noblechairs has followed since its inception. The big difference between Noblechairs seats and other cheap racing style gaming chairs is that Noblechairs chairs are premium and feel good enough to actually be in a car. best gaming chair.
I’ve tried many different chairs, and one question that always comes up is, “Would you like to get an office chair? Isn’t it better and more comfortable?” This is a very subjective question. Office chairs come in all shapes, sizes, and qualities, and much depends on the ergonomics of the chair, how well you can adjust it for your personal comfort, and, of course, how you adjust it. I can see it.
Noblechairs Legend is not flashy, it’s well designed and can fit into an office environment without “gaming” the area or looking out of place. The opposite is also true. Legends looks completely at home in the game’s setup.
The Legend is an amalgamation of previous noble chair design lineages, including the Epic, Icon and Hero series, all of which contribute several design aspects to the Legend’s final form. Legend uses comfy foam cushions and features built-in lumbar support, 4D armrests, and two tilt mechanisms for plenty of customization.
At around $689 (£459 in the UK), the Legend is a premium-priced gaming chair, and the materials used and product finishes reflect the more expensive nature of this product. Not as expensive as some gaming chairs such as $1,695 Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody It’s a gaming chair, but it’s expensive compared to similar racing-style chairs like $519 Secretlab Titan Evo 2022.
assembly
The Legend ships in one big box and the chair is quite heavy, so it’s a good idea to have a little help moving the chair to where you want to assemble it. When you open the package, you can see that the individual parts of the chair are very well protected, wrapped in a mixture of foam and cardboard to keep everything safe.
One of the armrests of the chair is already attached to the base of the chair. This, along with the instruction manual, provides a visual guide on how to attach the other arm. Assembling the Legend was relatively easy, and it only took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble the chair myself. There was one pesky screw that wasn’t screwed in properly when securing the backrest to the seat surface. I also experienced a small jump scare when removing the retaining screw from the ratchet mechanism on the recline handle. There is a warning about the reclining handle in the instruction manual, but the rebound force is very high and can cause injury if you are not careful.
The instruction manual is very good, with detailed and very clear instructions and an easy-to-understand visual guide. I used my own little ratchet set instead. Once the seat is fully assembled, you can choose to add the two included memory foam cushions if you wish to use them.

Design and construction
I love the design of the Legend and I can definitely see the legacy of the previous generation of Noble chairs in the design aesthetic of the chair. The overall appearance of the Legend is rather understated. Most of the colors available are solid, and the chair accents are limited to a few metal buttons and a reclining handle to the seatback eyehole. The selection of materials used and some stitch patterns.
I love the look of this chair in my office. The plain black doesn’t look flashy and the stitching and shape of the chair is great. It is also very comfortable to sit at 6ft.
The Noblechairs Legend is available in 3 material types (fabric, PU, or hybrid PU) and 5 colors (black, white, grey, black/white/red, brown/java).
The overall structure of Legend is solid. The class 4 gas lift works well, supports my weight and the chair reclines easily. The chair works well on the wheels it comes with, but one of the issues I had with using the chair on hard floors was how it sounded. I solved this by gluing felt to the bottom of the plastic cover. This greatly dampened the effect.
With the Legend weighing 66.1 lbs (30 kg) fully assembled and with a maximum seat height of 22.8 inches, we think this seat is the perfect size for people between 5’11” and 6’2″ tall. (Of course, everyone’s size is different, so treat yourself with a pinch of salt.) The seat and gas lift support up to 330lbs (150kg), and the seat is reasonably wide at 20.5″ (52cm), so there’s plenty of room Support for larger body sizes.
My review unit was black high-tech German PU material that looks and feels great. Easy to clean with a quick wipe and dries quickly. The seat and back cushions are comfortable with well-shaped cold foam.
The Legend has the usual adjustability found in this type of gaming chair. This includes adjustable 4D armrests, height and tilt levers under the seat (including tilt tensioners), reclining handle on the right side of the seat, and lumbar support knobs. Also on the right side of the seat back.
comfort and adjustment
We found the Legend to be a comfortable chair. Thanks to its ergonomics and adjustability, it can be operated in several different ways and remains comfortable even after long hours of use. With a fully upright backrest, your natural sitting position feels very upright and promotes good posture. I especially like this position for working on my PC. After hours of typing, I really noticed that I didn’t feel any pain while slouching or slowly arching my spine.
The built-in lumbar support also supported my posture and was perfectly positioned for my height. The lumbar is controlled by twisting a knob on the right side of the chair backrest.
The headrest support is included in the shape of the seatback, and the headrest tilts slightly forward, making it practically unusable without reclining.
The Legend also comes with two memory foam cushions that can be attached for added lumbar/back and neck support. But if you can’t use lumbar support, at least a cushion is included as an alternative option.
The Legend’s gas lift works just like our premium gaming and office chairs, and so does the tilt feature. The reclining handles on the sides of the chair act like a mechanical car seat. Pulling up on the handle releases a spring-loaded ratchet mechanism that allows the user’s weight to tilt the seat back. Return to upright position.
I had my young son, who is 5ft 6in, sit in the Legend to confirm that the lumbar support was too high for him to use and that the headrest actually pushed his head forward when he sat in the chair. Did. He found it rather uncomfortable. When fully reclined, his head rested on his plastic-lined shoulder vent, which was also uncomfortable. (“I prefer the current chair over this gorgeous looking chair,” he told me.
4D armrests offer a lot of customization. You can move it up and down, left and right, move it forward and backward, and even rotate it in and out. At first it seemed like it needed very little range of motion, but after sitting cross-legged and my knee wouldn’t fit, I was able to rotate my arm outwards and get my knee in comfortably.
My only issue with these armrests was the placement and build quality of some of the buttons. The forward button was flat on my left arm but protruded slightly on my right arm. The button that controls the is placed in the center of the armrest and I think it sticks out a bit. It was very annoying.
Conclusion
The Legend is a nice chair and fits someone as tall as me perfectly. Made of high-quality materials, the stitching is solid and the comfort is excellent. I love the styling of legends. It’s a way to look calm and classy instead of going overboard with flashy colors and patterns. And you can sit on the Legend for hours singing praises while attesting to the quality of the cold foam cushions.
However, there are too many complications for this to be a truly great chair. Despite its wide range of customization and adjustments, the Legend doesn’t really work in a wide range of heights, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this chair for anyone below 5’6″, especially if you want to use lumbar support Headrest while leaning back on the chair. It’s also disappointing that build quality issues such as armrests, reclining handles, gas lift covers, and noisy acoustics from the aluminum wheelbase make it into the final product. Shorter, lighter users looking for lumbar support may be better off with a non-racing chair such as the Herman Miller X Logitech G Vantum.
