Nvidia release (opens in new tab) A new game-ready driver, DLSS 3, introduced in October, is already available in 14 games, with more coming later this month. He also highlights the milestone of over 250 games and apps that can be enhanced with his DLSS technology.
Nvidia believes the momentum of DLSS 3 adoption is evidenced by the latest version of its AI-enhanced scaling technology becoming available in 14 games in just over a month. Additionally, here are his five new DLSS 3 titles available in December:
- Need for Speed Unbound (now in DLSS 3)
- Warhammer 40,000 Dark Tides (Currently available in DLSS 3 and Ray Tracing)
- Portal with RTX (Releasing December 8th with DLSS 3 and full ray tracing)
- Jurassic world evolution 2 (Updated to DLSS 3 on Dec 8)
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Updated to DLSS 3 and Ray Tracing on Dec 14)
Latest drivers from Nvidia, Version 527.37 WHQL (opens in new tab)is also a game-ready driver for Need for Speed Unbound When Marvel’s Midnight SonsThe former will have a DLSS 3 upgrade available soon, while the latter launches tomorrow with DLSS 2 and advanced ray tracing effects. Nvidia appreciates the capabilities of DLSS 3, a technology currently exclusive to Ada Lovelace, but it does have some weaknesses. An important thing to note in DLSS 3 is the lack of delay and overhead introduced by the frame generation technology.
