Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Rumored to Have a 165W TDP
We’re 10 days away from the rumored launch date for the desktop GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card family. As May 24th draws nearer, it looks like quite a few details are beginning to emerge.A few hours ago video card According to our sources, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM will require an extra 5W from the PSU. Loaded with 16GB, this Ada Lovelace mid-ranger is therefore expected to offer a 165W TDP.
The TDP information comes from the same source along with other interesting rumored configuration information. For example, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB and RTX 4060 Ti 16GB are both claimed to be based on the same board design (PG190).
Nevertheless, VideoCardz said the SKU will increase from PG190 361 to PG190 363. However, it looks like the 16GB model’s design required a GPU tweak. Therefore, the GPU codename will increase from AD106-350 to AD106-351.
Aside from memory configuration changes, 5W TDP differences, and some SKU/codename tweaks, it’s not believed there will be much difference between the 8GB and 16GB models of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. In other words, all RTX 4060 Ti variants are expected to have 4,352 CUDA cores. Apparently, Nvidia learned a humiliating, harsh, and expensive lesson with his RTX 4080 12GB debacle.

Embedded above is the latest table full of Ada Lovelace GPU facts and rumors*. We can see that four members have been added to the GeForce RTX 4060 family. Currently, it looks like the regular and Ti versions of this card are offered in both 8GB and 16GB variants.
Nvidia is expected to unveil all of the GeForce RTX 4060 family on Wednesday, May 24th, but the release could be staggered. This month should be his RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB first. However, those looking for a cheaper entry into his RTX 40 series with the RTX 4060 8GB will have to wait until some point in July. Likewise, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB and RTX 4060 16GB models are set to release in his July.
If you’re interested in the red team’s RDNA 3 architectureware, there are also rumors that the AMD Radeon RX 7600 (8GB) will debut on May 25th.
It remains to be seen if these new mid-rangers on the green or red teams will be able to compete with the best graphics cards.
