Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Specs Leak: AD104 Cut by a Quarter

Famous hardware leaker @kopite7 you Preliminary specs for Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 (non-Ti) graphics card have leaked out. According to the leak, Team Green decided to use the heavily stripped-down AD104 GPU for their product, but how much faster it gets in real-world games and how it ranks on the list of best graphics cards. I don’t know yet.

Please note that we are dealing with preliminary information from unofficial sources. As expected, just like the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, the standard GeForce RTX 4070 is based on the AD104 graphics processor. However, Nvidia slashed it down to 5888 his CUDA cores, which is a 23% reduction when compared to his AD104 which is full fat. Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070 board, on the other hand, will feature 12GB of GDDR6X memory connected to the GPU using a 192-bit interface. This is the same memory configuration as the GeForce RTX 4070. In terms of power consumption, the RTX 4070 is rated at 250W. Overall board power consumption has been reduced from the RTX 4070 Ti’s 285W.
