Band Pearl Jam canceled the show in Vienna on Wednesday, saying heat, dust and smoke from wildfires across Europe hurt lead vocalist Eddie Vedder’s throat at an outdoor show in Paris.

Pearl Jam was performed at Lollapalooza Paris On Sunday, in a deadly heat wave that set a record across Europe. A wildfire in southwestern France has forced 37,000 people to evacuate and devastated nearly 80 square miles of forest.
Fans holding tickets for the Wednesday night show in Vienna will get a refund, the band said. The next upcoming show will take place on Friday in Prague.
