According to an October 10 announcement, the Indian Police in Firozabad has developed a web portal for reporting crimes using the Polygon (MATIC) modular blockchain.

The portal allows users to register complaints in an immutable and transparent manner. This means that registered complaints cannot be deleted or edited.
Polygon’s modular blockchain is a specialized blockchain network that only focuses on a few functions and outsources the rest to other layers.
According to the website, “The Firozabad Public Complaint Management System (FGPMS) is a customized portal of the Firozabad Police (Uttar Pradesh State Police) to resolve complaints. Complaints can be filed anywhere and complaints prevail. can land on any relevant station.”
This website also contains other information about the Portal, such as the complaints process, features, and authorities’ response to complaints submitted.
Every police station in the area has a special QR code that users can scan to access the form and file a complaint.
Meanwhile, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal and Indian expressed Excitement to move. According to them, the move will help curb corruption in India’s criminal justice system and help victims get justice.
