Polygon’s Q2 data shows significant growth in the ecosystem

Statistics show that the average transaction cost of Polygon (MATIC) fell 49% in the second quarter to $ 0.018. release July 26th.

Other DeFi platforms such as 0x and Meshaswap are also in the top 10. Meshaswap is a decentralized exchange deployed in Polygon in the second quarter, already processing 1.6 million transactions and adding 91,000 users.

Other major decentralized applications like Quickswap have been able to sustain their growth. Decentralized exchanges had 382,000 users this quarter, second on the Polygon ecosystem’s top 10 list.

NFT on polygon

Polygon’s NFT project was fair in the second quarter, despite the bear market. OpenSea added 1.2 million new wallets to Polygon in the second quarter, increasing the number of unique active wallets to 1.51 million.

New mint transactions increased by 50% and transaction volume on the platform increased by 47% to reach 122.45 million.

The gaming protocol also had a great quarter on the layer2 network. Aavegotchi launched Gotchi Land and gained 102,000 new users.

Polygon also welcomed a new project from the Terra ecosystem that collapsed during the quarter.

Polygon CEO Ryan Watt said the network is embracing these new projects with open arms.

Apart from that, the layer2 platform has also become a selection network for Stripe, Liverpool football clubs and several other major brands, shifting its focus to web3.
