Polygon also increased the number of unique addresses on the platform by 12% to 5.34 million in the second quarter.
Meanwhile, new contract authors increased by 273%, and more than 90,000 developers published their first contracts on Polygon, increasing the number of developers using the network during this period.

Quarterly insights dive into Polygon’s decentralized financial ecosystem, revealing some of its top performers.
Bungee, a bridge aggregator, has seen a 972% surge in transaction volume and a more than 1000% increase in its user base. It is currently Polygon’s fifth largest DeFi platform with 90,000 users.
Other DeFi platforms such as 0x and Meshaswap are also in the top 10. Meshaswap is a decentralized exchange deployed in Polygon in the second quarter, already processing 1.6 million transactions and adding 91,000 users.
Other major decentralized applications like Quickswap have been able to sustain their growth. Decentralized exchanges had 382,000 users this quarter, second on the Polygon ecosystem’s top 10 list.

Polygon CEO Ryan Watt said the network is embracing these new projects with open arms.
