Samsung Electronics has signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with partners, including Theta Labs, to operate the NFT ecosystem for a new range of Galaxy mobile phones.
“Samsung Electronics is driving consumer experience innovation that connects the online virtual world’s non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to real offline benefits.“
The company believes that the NFT ecosystem is “By connecting the benefits of the virtual world and the real world, we will realize “innovation in consumer experience.”
NFTs that improve customer experience
Samsung intends NFTs to serve as a way to offer “practical benefits” such as customer discounts and authentication tools. Details will be confirmed at the phone launch event scheduled for August 10th.

Theta Labs’ role will be to issue Galaxy NFTs, while Alllink, an NFC payment solutions company, will provide authentication services.
Theta Networks co-founder Mitch Liu said in an English-language press release shared with CryptoSlate that Theta will “launch the world’s largest offline NFT utility campaign.”
“More than 100,000 NFT holders can now use Theta NFTs online and offline through ThetaPass technology. We will continue to expand our coverage and utility.”
ThetaPass refers to an NFT ticketing system for accessing virtual events. January.
