Bankrupt FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) reportedly hired white-collar attorney Marc S. Cohen Reuters.
SBF faces civil lawsuits from FTX investors and customers. The hiring was revealed by SBF spokesperson Mark Botnick in an email. According to Botnick’s email, his Stanford Law School professor, David Mills, is also advising on the matter.
Cohen & GresserMark Cohen is a former US Assistant Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.Previously Cohen worked El Chapo and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Meanwhile, SBF previously hired Martin Flumenbaum to defend him against a civil suit. However, Flumenbaum’s company said he no longer represents SBF because of the dispute.
