Tucker Carlson Accused of Promoting a Hostile Work Environment in Lawsuit

Tucker Carlson is facing a lawsuit from his former reservations boss, Abby Grossberg, for being exposed to a hostile and discriminatory work environment.

Grossberg was fired from Fox News shortly after he filed two lawsuits against Fox News in March, but served for several years as a senior producer for another Fox host, Maria Bartiromo. After that, he joined Carlson’s team in 2022.

Grossberg said in the lawsuit naming Carlson that male producers regularly use vulgar language when portraying women and frequently make anti-Semitic jokes.

On his first day working for Mr. Carlson, Mr. Grossberg said he found his office decorated with a large photo of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a bathing suit. She was once called into a top producer’s office to be asked if Bartiromo had a sexual relationship with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.

In the lawsuit, Grossberg said he was forced to make misleading statements by Fox’s attorneys in a recent defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems and defended offensive statements from Mr. Carlson. The producers of .sent an email to the rest of the staff.

Fox has disputed Grossberg’s allegations, and Carlson has not said anything publicly about the matter.

A Fox News spokesperson said: “We continue to defend Fox vigorously against Mr. Grossberg’s unsubstantiated legal allegations full of false allegations against Fox and our employees.”

The suit, filed in the Southern District of New York, also names Fox Corporation, Fox News, several network executives and several of Carlson’s producers as defendants.

In a statement Monday, one of Grossberg’s attorneys, Tanvir Rahman, said Carlson’s departure from Fox News was “partly due to systemic lies, bullying and intrigue alleged by his clients. We are acknowledging the pitch of the Mr Rahman said his legal team would take depositions against Mr Carlson and his subordinates “very soon”.
