Licensed mode is packed with race challenges and mini-games, and you can play side missions to improve your timing and hone your technique. There are now a variety of licenses, each with progressively harder challenges and even greater rewards. Rewards include exclusive decals and customized his items to let other racers know who’s the king of kart racing. License mode also allows you to unlock other tracks and unlock exclusive skins for multiple characters based on each license.
