Final Fantasy 16 Producer Naoki Yoshida Is Tired of Trolls Complaining

Final Fantasy 16 producer and director Naoki Yoshida is officially sick of online trolls complaining about his game.

according to reports euro gamer, a comment Yoshida made during the Japanese documentary was translated by Aitai Kimochi streamer and Twitter user Audrey (below). “There are a lot of people who just yell. People I’ve never seen, met or spoken to. It’s strange,” Yoshida said of reading negative comments online.

Some of these comments are featured in the documentary, but perhaps some of them are chosen to be more subdued for television.reddit user Eleven Mile “Iconic battles look so plain,” one person translated. “not yet [the only Final Fantasy] I’m not going to buy it on the first day,” said another.

“What did we do to them?” Yoshida replied. “Perhaps they are just writing it out of negativity and malice. Disgusting.”

Final Fantasy 16 has received some criticism for not really being an RPG, but aside from unnerving some dogs and motion blur making some players nauseous (which was quickly addressed), the game is doing well.

It was well received by critics (IGN’s review gave it a rating of 9/10), with Square Enix shipping 3 million copies in its first week and stating that sales were “very good”.
