Bethesda Game Studios has released three new animated stories for Starfield, focusing on Settled Systems’ three major cities.
The first short film, “Supra Er Ultra,” is set in New Atlantis, which Bethesda has previously admitted is the largest city the studio has ever produced. The video focuses on Kent, a courier pilot who “wants to live in the most desirable region of a settlement star system.”
The second animated short “Where Hope is Built” is set in Akira City and tells the story of an orphan girl who repairs a broken ship and searches for spare parts to fulfill her dream of exploring the stars.
The third film, The Hand That Feeds, is set in Neon and focuses on two stray rats who steal from wealthy tourists and catch the eye of Ryujin Industries, a large corporation headquartered in Neon and one of the main factions you can join in Starfield.
With less than two months left, there has been very little official Starfield news from Bethesda since the exclusive showcase in June. The showcase allowed players to visit his 1,000+ planets and found the Xbox Series X/S version locked at his 30FPS. After the showcase, Xbox Games Studios head Matt Booty claimed that Starfield had fewer bugs than any other game made by Bethesda Game Studios.
But some news has also surfaced from fans eager to see Starfield play. For example, one person pointed out that pickpocketing in Starfield would be more intense if he decided to strip NPCs of their possessions, and another fan thought he had learned his entire tree of skills.
Starfield launches on PC and Xbox Series X/S on September 6th.
