So which competitor never dreamed of challenging us for the top spot as the best AI character of all time? Drumroll please…
Ok, I think he technically stood up against us once, but that’s okay because he’s become a real friend to us organisms since then! Yes, Arnold Schwarzenet from Terminator 2 Gar’s T-800: Judgment Day surpassed the rest (even Skynet!) to claim the honor of being the greatest AI character of all time, according to IGN viewers. However, it was a very tough fight as he won 79.7% of his battles. This was just 0.01% better than his R2-D2, everyone’s favorite astromech from a galaxy far, far away.
It was one of the tightest in IGN’s faceoff history, winning by just four votes. This means that those who love his R2-D2 more than anything (like me!) should have fought a little harder!In any case, his 2 of the most iconic characters in entertainment history. person took the top spot, and the top 10 was joined by quite a few other big names.
Agent Smith and the Machines from The Matrix came in third with a 78.7% win rate, Halo’s Cortana followed with a 73.1% win rate, and Futurama’s Bender rounded out the top five with a 72.8% win rate. With his T-1000 from Skynet and Terminator 2 taking his 7th place and his 8th place, and R2’s best friend his C-3PO taking his 9th place, Terminator and Star Wars are next. hogged his five spots. Elsewhere, Optimus Prime was his No. 6 and GLaDOS his No. 10.
At the other end of the AI spectrum, Rez’s Eden sits at the bottom with a win rate of just 17%. That may have been a factor, as Rez was clearly less focused on the story and more on the musical experience to play, as she wasn’t the main focus of the game. Also near the bottom are Chibi-Robo, Jehuty from Zone of the Enders, Aigis from Persona 3, SAM from Observation, STEM from Upgrade, Zenyatta from Overwatch, KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, Pathfinder from Apex Legends, and Forbidden Planet There was Robby the Robot.
Eight of the bottom ten AI characters were from video games. Some of these games and characters are popular in modern times, like Overwatch and Apex Legends, while others are a bit older, niche, and less relevant today. Legend players had to compete against many other characters in each game.
