This was the first time a Best Score Soundtrack in the Video Game and Other Interactive Media category was included in the Grammy Awards, but it’s not the first time a video game has been nominated or won. In 2012, Austin Wintory and Journey were nominated for Best Score Soundtrack in the Visual Media category at the Grammy Awards, but lost to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

In his review of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, he said, “Fantastic setting and solid storyline make Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok perform the same moves as the main game once a year, half a year later.”
