Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC Release Date Announced, New Trailer Revealed

Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Mundfish have announced that Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC will be released on August 2nd.

A first for an Action RPG, this DLC adds new areas, new weapons, new enemies, and new glove abilities. The trailer is below.

Here’s the official line of new DLC: “Continue the story with the Annihilation Instinct DLC and learn what happened to this dystopian world after the climax of Atomic Heart. Explore the heart-wrenching new Mendeleev Complex and its surroundings.” Get ready to embark on a journey through the swamp.As Major P-3 is pulled back to Facility 3826, the truth about NORA is revealed.

“Survive vicious new shapeshifting enemies and defeat them with two insidious new weapons, the ranged Secater and the melee Krusha, and the Grove’s new Technostasis ability, which allows you to manipulate time itself.

“Meet new mysterious characters and returning characters in surprising situations, dive deep into the AI’s madness and curb its annihilation instincts.”

Meanwhile, the New Game+ mode is being offered for free along with the new update. It is designed to offer Atomic Heart’s most difficult mode yet. “Players will need all of the previously unlocked skills and weapons to deal with the toughest foes Atomic Heart has ever unleashed, thanks to new unique resistances and attack effects, and they It’s reflected in the different colors of the enemy’s aura,” Focus said.

Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC is included in Atomic Pass, Gold Edition, and Premium Edition. IGN’s Atomic Heart review gave it an 8/10.
