Blizzard Apologises to Disgruntled Diablo 4 Players as Servers Go Down With Error Code 300202

Diablo 4 is experiencing a serious server issue that causes players to see error code 300202 upon login on all platforms.

The always-online action role-playing game went out of play for much of today, June 8th, with players reporting issues on the internet.

A Blizzard account on social media apologized and said staff were working to fix the game.

“We apologize again for the inconvenience caused by today’s power outage.” Blizzard tweeted. “We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible!”

“We are aware of the issue and are working to fix it as soon as possible,” said Diablo Development Director Rod Ferguson. tweeted. “Thank you for your patience.”

As Blizzard struggles to bring Diablo 4 back to life, players are lamenting the developer’s controversial decision to once again opt for an always-online route to the series.

“Blizzard, if you can’t keep your servers online, give us an offline mode,” wrote one player. diablo 4 subreddit.

Diablo 4 features light MMO elements that allow for player-versus-player combat, shared social spaces, and party-based dungeon exploration. Blizzard said it is a big fan of these elements and encourages the occasional unplanned interaction between players.

Diablo 4 launched with a bang, making it the fastest-selling game in Blizzard’s history. The film was well received by critics and was generally well received by fans.

But Diablo 4’s microtransaction costs have raised eyebrows, and surprisingly, Whoopi Goldberg has pushed Blizzard to release Diablo 4 on the Mac.
