Bloober Team’s The Medium Is Becoming a TV Show

The Medium is coming to TV as a new psychological horror series.

Statement from the developer Bloober Team has confirmed that 2021 horror game The Medium is being adapted for TV in partnership with Platige Image.

“The film and video game industries are close to my heart,” said Piotr Babieno, president of the Bloober team. “We are very happy to finally have the opportunity to bring the two together…The story we told in the game was appreciated by our players and now more people will be able to hear about it. “

Oscar-nominated Polish director Tomasz Baginski will serve as creative supervisor for the project. “Bridging the worlds of movies and games is also a huge and fascinating challenge,” he said Bagiński. “I am delighted to be working with such a talented team on a project like The Medium.”

According to Babieno, Bagiński’s involvement highlights how serious the team is about adaptation. “The whole team working on the series concept felt like they were on to something special,” he said. “I hope this enthusiasm shows in the quality of the series.”

Medium is a co-production between Bloober Team and Platige Image, with both companies sharing the cost if the series is produced.

IGN’s The Medium review gave it an 8/10 and stated:
