Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC on October 28, 2022. Includes campaigns, co-op special ops mode, and online multiplayer. There is also a lot of free online content scheduled after launch.

This year, there is no final generation-only version. There is a PS5-specific version, and there is a cross-generation bundle where you can get PS4 and PS5 versions for the same price. The Xbox version is only available in a cross-generation bundle. It also includes the applicable pre-order bonus (see below).
