Call of Duty: Warzone Announces ‘Fifth and Final’ Season

Activision has announced that the fifth and final season of Call of Duty: Warzone will begin on August 24th. This suggests that Warzone 2’s release is imminent.

Announcement date game websiteThe final season will be named Last Stand and will revolve around a league of Call of Duty villains led by Black Ops 2’s Raul Menendez. Khaled Al-Assad from the original Modern Warfare will also make an appearance, as will Gabriel T. Rourke from Ghost and his “Seraph” Jen-Jen from Black Ops 3.

Simultaneous Call of Duty seasons in Warzone and Vanguard typically last about two to three months, so this final season for Warzone will likely end in November.

The final season of Black Ops: Cold War lasted about a month after Vanguard’s release. This also coincides with Warzone’s November end date, as Modern Warfare 2 launches on his October 28th. So it’s probably Warzone 2’s launch date. .

Nothing has been confirmed, of course, but rumors of a November release date circulated earlier this week. Official confirmation shouldn’t be too far away, as information about the new Warzone 2 is set to be revealed alongside the rest of the game.

Activision has said incredibly little about its Battle Royale sequel since it was announced in February.
