Fans of Insomniac’s Spider-Man video game already have a history of feeling strange about unimportant details in the game. The trend nearly rearranged its ugly head once again this week after the release of a new trailer for Spider-Man 2 at Comic-Con. the fans agreed Insomniac did something dramatic to change Mary Jane’s face from the original game.
No, it wasn’t. Same face, same model, same actress. Calm down everyone!
The issue was raised on Twitter today by Insomniac’s Director of Community and Marketing, James Stevenson. Confirmed To many people That MJ never changes. Her hairstyle is different in the sequel, and it’s entirely possible that the model was more accurate due to improvements in her face scanning technology, but she’s the same face.
the good news is Everyone seems to be taking the fix well. In a thread on the SpidermanPS4 subreddit, his members of the community reacted to the news largely positively. There is one particularly active reply thread He hilariously mocks the community by suggesting that “people are absolutely unaware that they are absolutely fooled by Clark Kent’s ‘disguise’.” they are not wrong.

Jonah Jameson is up to, and got our first look at this gorgeous new Spider-Man 2-themed PS5 and DualSense controller.
