CD Projekt is adding a witcher-themed legendary sword to Cyberpunk 2077 through the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion.
Announcement date gogcomAnyone who pre-orders the Phantom Liberty and connects it to their GOG account (the CD Projekt version of Steam) will be rewarded with a series of perks depending on what other games they’ve played.
Owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get a red and brown leather hoodie for V to dress up in. This looks like his 2077 version of the Cat School armor.
These players will also be awarded the Sword of Gwynbleed, reminiscent of Aerondight from the original The Witcher and the third Blood and Wine expansion. Gwynbleed is also Geralt’s nickname in The Elder Speech, which translates to White Wolf.
Fans of the witcher card game will also love it, as anyone who has Gwent on their GOG account will be rewarded with a unique t-shirt and a special pistol called the Scorch, named after one of the game’s most infamous cards. not forgotten
Everyone who pre-orders the Phantom Liberty will also receive a Rarog vest, named after the mythical bird that wears the CD Projekt logo. The studio has promised more to come in the future.
The Phantom Liberty expansion is set to add a wealth of content to Cyberpunk 2077 when it launches on September 26th, radically changing some mechanics of the base game.
It also features vehicular combat, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-inspired cyberpsychosis features, and a wise homage to witchers, but the game has higher PC requirements.
