Cocoon, the highly anticipated world-jumping game from Geometric Interactive and lead gameplay designers from Limbo and Inside, is officially available on Xbox Series X/S (Game Pass!), Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC. Coming to Steam on September 29, 2023.
Cocoon’s release date was revealed along with the latest gameplay trailer at the Annapurna Interactive Showcase, giving us another glimpse of the puzzlers who can not only enter and exit the world, but actually play the game. use A world to solve puzzles.
Each world pops into an orb that you can carry with you to solve puzzles and even unlock unique abilities that help you complete quests and power ups. You can also use the world jump mechanism to avoid hazards. So far, the player has seen his character jump out of the world to avoid dangerous moving obstacles, and jump back down again when they pass their original position.
Cocoon is more than just puzzles. There are also big boss fights and combat encounters that require careful thought and use of abilities unlocked from previously explored worlds.
