Corsair Launches 2000D Airflow SFF Cases For Triple-Slot GPUs

Corsair has expanded its line of branded mini-ITX cases with the new 2000D Airflow series. The 2000D Airflow and 2000D RGB Airflow Small Form Factor (SFF) cases are specially designed for compact yet high performance systems. With a volume of 24.4 liters, the Corsair 2000D series case has enough space to accommodate the most demanding hardware, including a 360mm AIO CPU liquid cooler and full-size graphics cards with up to triple-slot design.

The 2000D Airflow is available in white or black, with or without RGB lit fans. So there are 4 different variations of this case. Either way, the 2000D Airflow is a Mini-ITX case that prioritizes airflow for the components housed inside. For the same reason, Corsair designs his 2000D Airflow with removable steel mesh front, side and rear panels for maximum airflow in all directions. The case measures 18.03 x 10.67 x 7.87 inches and weighs just under 10 pounds. As a result, it doesn’t take up much space whether the user puts it on the desk or put it down. Being an SFF case, the 2000D Airflow only accepts mini-ITX motherboards.

As the name suggests, the 2000D Airflow can accommodate up to eight 120mm cooling fans and two 140mm cooling fans. When a user fits his 2000D Airflow with a single-slot graphics card, it opens up the possibility of cooling the graphics card with two additional fan mounts. For CPU air cooling enthusiasts, the 2000D Airflow supports coolers with a maximum height of 6.69 inches. Corsair’s SFF cases offer a wealth of liquid cooling options thanks to the abundance of fan mounts. Supports 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm and 360mm radiators. Users can install up to multiple radiators in scenarios using single-slot graphics cards, using his 360 mm unit on the side and 240 mm unit on the back combination example.

The 2000D Airflow has 3 case expansion slots to accommodate large graphics cards with up to 3 PCI slots vertically. A consumer can fit a GeForce RTX 4090 into his 2000D Airflow without issue. However, you need to make sure your graphics card is shorter than 14.37 inches. Because this is the maximum length allowed within 2000D Airflow.

However, with the 2000D Airflow, storage options are limited to three 2.5″ drives, whether SSD or hard drive. Additionally, one caveat with this case is that it only accepts SFX or SFL-L power supplies, limiting your options to units up to 5.12 inches long. Nonetheless, the company offers the SF series and his SF-L series with capacities ranging from 600 to 750 watts, the latter from 850 to 1,000 watts, so Corsair enthusiasts will appreciate the brand’s ecosystem. No problem finding the right unit within. In terms of I/O design, the 2000D Airflow features one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one 3.5mm audio jack on the front panel.

The 2000D Airflow retails for $139.99. On the other hand, the 2000D RGB Airflow with 3 Corsair AF120 RGB Slim fans pre-installed in the front intake is priced at $199.99. Corsair offers a 2 year warranty on the 2000D Airflow case. For the RGB version, the AF120 RGB Slim Fan comes with a 3-year warranty.
