Cyberpunk 2077 Passes 20 Million Copies Sold

Cyberpunk 2077 hit a major sales milestone as CD Projekt revealed that the game has sold over 20 million units. The game originally launched in December 2020, so it took him less than two years before the game crossed his 20 million mark.

The last time we had an update on Cyberpunk 2077 sales was in April, when we learned that the game had sold 18 million copies. Since then, the game has sold an additional two million copies of him. This is likely thanks to the announcement of a Cyberpunk Edgerunners Netflix anime and the Phantom Liberty, the game’s first and only major DLC expansion.

This sales milestone is just the latest in a string of good news for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s a refreshing change of pace after the game’s disastrous launch.CD Projekt recently shared that over a million daily players flew into Night City last week. Cyberpunk 2077 hit his highest concurrent player count in over a year and a half on Steam earlier this month.

Twenty million is a huge milestone that few games have reached in history, but it’s even more remarkable for Cyberpunk, which was in such a rough spot that Sony dropped the game from the PlayStation Store shortly after its launch. Worth it. Cyberpunk made his return to the PlayStation store last summer and has been playing smoothly ever since.
