Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Netflix Reveals Opening Title Sequence for Its Upcoming Anime Series

Netflix has released the opening title sequence for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the next anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

Franz Ferdinand’s “This Fffire” was included in the “Very Stylish and Painful Opening” and was shared on the Anime Expo 2022 Trigger 10th Anniversary & Announcement Panel.

Studio Trigger, in addition to opening credits, will show attendees the first episode of the series, with Demon Slayer’s English voice actor Zach Aguilar: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Sumimon Charcoal lending to the protagonist David Martinez. I confirmed.

Martinez says, “A street kid trying to survive in a futuristic city crazy about technology and body modification. By losing everything, you live by becoming an edge runner, a mercenary outlaw, also known as cyberpunk. Choose to continue. “

The 10-episode series also focused on a netrunner named Lucy, and a recent official clip revealed that part of the story takes place in the same place as Cyberpunk 2077’s pickup mission. Jackie has to pick up a robot spy spider from the Maelstrom gang.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was released on Netflix in September 2022 and will continue to be one of the top 10 most anticipated new animations in 2022.
