Dead Island 2 Release Date Moved Forward by One Week

Developer Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver have announced that Dead Island 2’s release date has been moved up a week from April 28th to April 21st.

“You asked for it, you got it. Dead Island 2 has gone gold and is releasing a week early. See you at HELL-A on April 21, 2023.” , according to Dead Island’s official Twitter account.

Dead Island 2 was originally scheduled to release on February 3rd, but was later pushed back to April 28th. Players now end up getting their hands on the game a little sooner than expected.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It was also recently announced that it would be postponed to April 28th. From the original March 17th release date. With Dead Island 2 moving on his weekly basis, no more two games releasing on the same day.

Dead Island 2’s development cycle has been tumultuous. The game was originally revealed at E3 2014 and was helmed by previous developer, his Yager. Game development later moved to Sumo Digital and again to Dambuster in 2019. Its current form was finally shown at the years-awaited Gamescom 2022, re-launched along with his original February 2023 release date.

In IGN’s Dead Island 2 hands-on preview, he said, “Dead Island 2 appears to share a lot in common with not only the original Dead Island, but also with his brother-in-law Dying Light.”
