Destiny 2: Where Is Xur Today? Location and Exotic Items for July 14-18
Bathrobe boy Xûr lives in Destiny 2 for the weekend leading up to next week’s reset. If you’re looking to acquire shiny new exotic armor and weapons for your Guardians, look no further.
Each week, Xûr has a random Exotic Armor Assortment available for purchase, one for each Guardian Class, as well as a random Exotic Weapon and Exotic Engram. In addition to exotic goods, he has a random collection of legendary weapons and armor to adorn your Guardian.
We’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Xûr this week, including where to find Xûr, what Exotic weapons and armor you can get, and which Legendary weapon to pick up in PvE or PvP.
Where is the surr now?
You can find Xûr’s location here: winding cove in the EDZ upon July 14th To contact him, travel to the Winding Cove Landing Point. Once you arrive, head to the rocky cliffs at the edge of the cove and look for caves that wind up to the platform next to the Fallen. There are retail monsters out there that inspire us all.

Both of these exotic rolls are again not great. Get it if you need it. If not, it’s definitely more profitable to wait for a better roll from Xur.

My top picks for this week are no grace with triple-tap and snapshot sights (blblblbl), lonely (for some sliding crucible actions) and distant future (Purely for autoloading holsters only). None of these are god rolls, but they are at least reliable and/or do something cool or good. Snap if necessary.

Warlock has gotten quite a few wins this week, highlighted by a very nice helmet (although its high mobility may not be very useful for many people). Gauntlets are in a similar category.

The Titans must have pleased the Nine with some really great options this week. The highlight is a helmet with extremely spiky resilience and intelligence while keeping mobility as low as possible. Boots and chestpieces are equally impressive, with low mobility and good stats elsewhere. Praise me!

The Hunters have definitely pulled the short end of their sticks this week with a fairly medium roll, nothing too exciting.
Guardians, that’s all for this week’s Sur! For more on Destiny, check out some of the new weapons and gear you’ll find in Lightfall, or our Lightfall campaign walkthrough.
