Diablo 4 Players Have Already Hit Level 100 but the Hardcore Race Is Still On

The competition to reach max level in Diablo 4’s hardcore mode is heating up, with one player in particular coming close to that impressive feat.

Blizzard’s action role-playing game won’t release until June 6th, but it entered early access on June 1st, and players reached level 100 in just a few days.

Twitch streamer Rob2628 appears to be the first Diablo 4 player to reach max level using the Barbarian class and focusing on the Whirlwind skill to get there.

While some “Diablo 4” players have increased their chances by using experience-boosting tricks that have the group’s leader player leave the party, causing the dungeon to reset in the process, Blizzard is looking to improve their chances in the future. It seems likely that a patch will address this.

Even more interesting is the competition to 100 hardcore characters. Thanks to Blizzard’s plan, the first of his 1,000 players to achieve this goal can be immortalized in the statue of the game’s antagonist Lilith. Of course, Hardcore mode includes permanent death, which makes this a lot harder. In other words, when a character dies, that character disappears forever.

Diablo YouTuber and Streamer Udillois getting closer and closer to completing the challenge using the Rogue class. Wudijo is one of Diablo 4’s most prominent players, and in May he made headlines for solo defeating Ashaba World Boss in Hardcore during his Server Slam Open Beta event .

Wudijo’s hardcore race to 100 is a solo challenge and does not require grouping up or taking advantage of dungeon resets. At the time of publication, more than 10,000 people watched as Udijo slowly progressed through the last few levels. Udijo also ventures into his PvP areas in Diablo 4, where he may encounter enemy players.

Diablo 4’s leveling race comes amidst a slew of updates already issued by Blizzard, as Diablo 4 has received its first big balance patch.
