Elden Ring Had One of the Biggest Game Launches on YouTube, Ever

In its first 60 days after its release, Elden Ring became one of the biggest game launches in YouTube history, amassing well over 3 billion combined video views.

Elden Ring has garnered 3.4 billion views two months after its launch, beating out the next name on the list, GTA 5, with 1.9 billion views, according to stats shared exclusively with IGN. Of course, YouTube has grown since his GTA launch in 2013, which makes for an unfair comparison, but the much more recent Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) hit his 1.4 billion mark, so Elden It’s clear how successful Ring has been.

YouTube Gaming falls short of calling it of It’s the biggest game launch to date, but it’s clear that FromSoftware’s open-world masterpiece has set an incredibly high bar for future gaming on YouTube. A large part of it comes down to your hunger for different kinds of videos about the game, from Let’s Play to guides to lore explanations.

YouTube Gaming also called out some of the most famous creators in the Elden Ring community at the ‘Elden Lord Awards’.

Finally, the team acknowledged perhaps Elden Ring’s most famous hero, Let Me Solo Her. This player has fought the hardest boss in the game over her 1,000 times and earned a real-life sword for the effort. According to YouTube Gaming, videos featuring Let Me Solo Her alone have earned her over 25 million views.

All of this further proves Elden Ring’s status as a true gaming phenomenon. It quickly became one of the fastest selling games in recent history in both the US and Europe, one of the most played games by concurrent players on Steam, and the most reviewed game in modern history. became one of
