FromSoftware officially announced Eldtree Shadow, an upcoming DLC expansion for Elden Ring. The developer has confirmed that the DLC is currently in development, but has not announced an immediate release date.
The news came in the form of a tweet from the official elden ring and FromSoftware Twitter pagewhich also features new key artwork for the expansion just below.
The news marks the one-year anniversary of Elden Ring, which sold over 20 million copies and won unprecedented Game of the Year awards, including DICE, New York Game Awards and The Game Awards, making it IGN’s best game. was brought a few days later. 2022 too.
Elden Ring has only had one piece of DLC content added to the game since launch. This came in the form of the Colosseum Multiplayer Update. It’s not confirmed how much content Shadow of the Erdtree will have, but it will be the first single-player expansion available for Elden Ring.

Shadow of the Ardtree isn’t the only project FromSoftware is currently working on. Armored Core 6 is also in active development from a Japanese studio.
